Great campground on the Colorado River. In the evening we would take chairs down by the river and visit while watching the stars. We had a very enjoyable stay at Buckskin Mountain State Park. We will be back!

First, I must state I didn't stay at this C.G. I was looking for parks in their general vacinity and ran across their website. It didn't give rates, but indicated that "special rates" were given to Passport America, and Good Sam members. I couldn't find their campground on P.A., or Good Sam's websites, nor on my P.A. CD. So, I e-mailed them asking for their rates, since their website information was inadequate. I also asked about the discounts available, and told them they were not listed as a participating C.G. on P.A. or Good Sam websites. The first response to my e-mail was from the "boss", who informed me they were a highly rated RV park, then questioned my reading skills and informed me I had oral diarrhea. Being a very helpful person, he then proceeded to tell me "I surmise from your email that you are only interested in the cheapest rate you can get. You won't find happiness here. Thanks for the inquiry have a nice day. " My response: "I see that your manners are on par with your marketing skills. While you didn't bother to answer my question, you did tell me what I needed to know". Then one of his staff responded with: "By the tone of your e-mail, I agree with my boss, you will not find happiness here". So much for friendly and helpful management and staff. If that's the kind of people you want to deal with, this is the RV park for you! Personally, they make Wal-Mart or a truck stop look good to me.
